About Dr. Lande
Dr. Lande is a California licensed clinical psychologist (PSY#19202) with a specialty in neuropsychology and rehabilitation. Dr. Lande received his bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of California at Berkeley in 1996. In 2002 he earned his Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology, Alameda. He then completed a postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology in the department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of California Davis Medical Center. Most recently Dr. Lande has worked as a neuropsychologist at Rehabilitation Institute at Santa Barbara, for Pacific Neuroscience Medical Group, and in private practice.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Lande has been involved in research on the cognitive effects of chemical exposure, as well as the detection of malingering and poor effort. His doctoral dissertation was titled Predictors of Potential Malingering in Chronically Neurotoxin-Exposed Populations. Dr. Lande has also given numerous professional and community presentations, on topics ranging from rehabilitation to multiple sclerosis, chronic pain, and detection of malingering. Dr. Lande is a member of the American Psychological Association, the Ventura County Psychological Association, and the National Academy of Neuropsychology.
